Speaking effectively is a skill, not a talent, and understanding the neuroscience behind what we say and how we say it can impact how we interactive with others. With guidance, one can learn how to quiet their inner critic, boost one’s confidence, be heard, influence others, and take charge of their career.
In this interactive workshop, participants will:
1. Describe the neuroscience behind setting the stage for trust and partnering in relationships and minimizing fear and one’s inner critic.
2. Discover the framework for triggering communication that elevate trust, empathy, and confidence.
3. Apply communication tools for successfully giving and receiving feedback and creating collaboration with others.
ABOUT SONJA STETZLER:
Sonja Stetzler, MA, CPC is the founder of Effective Connecting, a business specializing in developing leadership and communication skills of high potentials. Sonja has several decades’ worth of experience in management, sales, teaching and coaching, and she has worked with companies such as Microsoft, Duke Energy, Bank of America, Carolinas Health Systems, and Blythe Construction, to name a few. In addition to her communications coaching practice, she facilitates a virtual Speaker Success Mastermind for emerging speakers.
Sonja received her B.S. from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina and her M.A. in Organizational Communication from Queens University in Charlotte, North Carolina. She is certified as an Executive Coach through Queens University’s executive coaching certificate program. She is a member of the International Coach Federation, National Speakers Association, and the Applied Improvisation Network.
